Mary Jane 1 sparked the idea for The Mary Jane Collection, a full deck of cards brought to life through my art. I wanted her to have a full name—Mary Jane felt right, a nod to the well-known name for cannabis, but also bold and timeless.

Games have always shaped me—playing cards, billiards, chess—each with its own rhythm and purpose. Cards carry stories, passing through hands, blending chance with strategy.

The story continued with Mary Jane 2, also known as Mary King Jane (Mary K. Jane), created for Valentine’s Day in collaboration with Ziggi. Now, the latest iteration, Mary A. Jane, showcases the ongoing evolution of the collection, even in its earliest phases. Each step is a reflection of growth—a journey of art, identity, and play.
